Wandering Brook Farms is a first generation beef and pork operation that ironically is operated on lands that were once part of the family’s dairy operation until the early 1980’s when the John’s grandparents sold the farm and the cows.  John and Jodi now work in partnership with the owners to utilize the pasture lands to graze cattle and move pigs through the edge lands in an effort to open up the undergrowth and renew land that was once thriving pastureland back to that healthy working landscape.

The farm is committed to regenerative practices that include rotational grazing practices for our cattle as well as rotational moves through forested paddocks with our pigs.  We truly feel that this leads to the healthiest best-tasting experience we can deliver to our customers.  At the same time there is the added benefit of being extremely beneficial to our environment.  WBF will always strive to deliver on being that responsible producer that is in continual evaluation of methods and practices aimed at delivering the highest quality product to our customers but at the same time being good stewards of the land we are so blessed to operate on.  We have a responsibility to manage our animals in a way that improve soils and improve the environment around us instead of depleting it.  We work hard to assure that we are continually building soils and improving the landscape at all times.  It is as important to us that we care for our environment as well as we do our animals.  This symbiotic relationship between animal and nature is modeled after the grazing herds that were here long before we dotted the landscape with cities and towns across the country.  As with everything balance can be found if you take a minute to slow down and look at your surroundings and we hope that we can bring you that balance with our top-quality Grass Fed Beef and Pasture Raised Pork.
